really depends what kinda pickup u want..

what kinda sound/situation... band/solo?

also, u want 1 pickup, 2 puckup, 3, 4 pickup system also have... really depends on how much dough u have...

then u want passive/active...

onboard preamp?

amp also.. u want the best.. affordable or wat..

yupp. also, whats your budget for each of those you mentioned?

for the amp, you can get the Ultrasound AG50 from joshuak(a member here) for a REALLY good price or perhaps a Stillwater amp.

hahaha..okok..think budget for pickup ard 300+ installation..Looking for something that can last for qt some time.. Preferbly those that does not require cutting and drilling of the wood..Not sure how the technology of pickup works..hoping to have one that can deliver close to natural sound..

Perhap for amp..budget ard 400-500..Prefer warm sounding, natural, not bright and metallic kind of sound..Amp for home use only..not sure abt the power required..15-30w??

Not sure if my budgets for the above are realistic.. Btw im really a beginner and I may not understand some of the terms here..

most pickups can last quite a long time...

if u want natural sound.. I think for that price you could get a K&K and a preamp.. or the LRbaggs RTS2 or imix...heard those are quite natural sounding.

400-500.. i think the stillwater's one of the best in that price.. or you could buy the higher end crate acoustic amps too.. but I'd go for the stillwater.

that kinda budget is more than adequate actually. Now it depends if it's worth spendin that mount on your cort parkwood...haven't heard that cort..

the sad thing about pickups is that u can't go around testing.. and testing another guitar with that pickup is not the most ideal and listenin to clips ain't the best either...

I always believe in synergy between guitars and their pickups..

pups: anything by lr baggs

amplifier: for home use? just get the epiphone 15w or the small ibanez amp.
Actually for home use, theres no need for an acoustic pup, waste money only. once you're ready for performance etc, then consider installing. Who knows u might have already upgraded your guitar then.

unless for church may consider an aer compact 60 or just get the baggs acoustic di and run the sound back through a monitor.
